Trigger******************
I had one Wednesday, my second. The first was in August. Nothing brought on the one Wednesday. We are hoping it's the Mirena I have and I have an appointment Tuesday to have it removed. CT scan came back normal. The ER gave me Ativan and nausea medicine. This is the first day since that I did not wake up shaking terribly from anxiety. Couldn't breathe, haven't been able to eat since. I will force crackers and grapes, glucerna, tablespoons of sugar because my sugar levels keep dropping but the nerves refuse to let me swallow any food. If it's not the mirena, I really really need good words of support right now. Nothing scary or I will go into another severe anxiety attack. And they are bad and once they start, they last for hours. Even if I take the Ativan it does nothing. Tell me it's ok please. Tell me that it's not as scary as it seems please... I'm on the verge of a break down if it doesn't get fixed from removing the mirena... I'm so afraid...

Sorry about the possible Mirena seizure activity. The good news is your workup, so far, appears to be normal. Especially the CT scan. What type of seizures are you having ( Complex partial, grand mal, petit mal, etc)? Seizures can be scary. I have had complex partial seizures for maybe 20 years. None for 10 years but I am still on meds. I am going to assume that the physicians have ruled out episodes of low blood sugar and/or anxiety. They can both mimic seizure. Mirena is such a great option for women. I hope you are able to continue on it. Try to breathe. Your tests are apparently normal so far.
