Because of my compromised immune system, it is recommended that I no longer use bar soap -- something about bacteria building up, etc.

I'm in a new town, without a Walgreens, which I love and know what I can find there. I went to the Walmart across the street today, but I am almost out of the antibacterial body wash I got at Walgreens, and I don't know where to find more. Does anybody use it and have a favorite that I can order online or something?

Just curious.

Walgreen's has online ordering. Can you find it there?

Otherwise, I like the generic version of Dial, I think the Mountain Fresh scent, that Wal-Mart sells, or else Suave. They're both sort of an aqua blue color. Sometimes I get rashy from lower-cost body washes, and neither of these make me red, dry, and itchy.

oooh, good point. But before I buy anything online, I need a checking account and a debit card. antibacterial body wash Haven't made it to the bank here yet.

I'm going to try Target tomorrow. But thanks for the idea about Walgreens!

I think I've bought the Target brand too. It's the store brand of Dial antibacterial. They've all worked well, and they smell really good.

Candy, Walmart has all kinds of cool bodywashes. Try looking there.

Jan,there is a Walmart just down the road from my sister's and I went there yesterday. You're right -- they have 18,000 varieties of body wash -- but none of them were antibacterial!! ACK!

I miss the days when I didn't have to worry about that, and my biggest problem was which flavor to buy!

I'm going to go try Target this afternoon.

They didn't have Equate antibacterial body wash? Weird. I know I've bought it before. antibacterial body wash

Anyway, give Target's brand or Suave a shot. They're both pretty inexpensive. I like No-Ad brand too, but I don't know what kinds of washes they have. Right now I'm using menthol and eucalyptus; it makes my skin all cool and tingly. antibacterial body wash

I went to Target, which is even bigger and cooler than Walmart. Grocery store in the Target too, but also a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut. I can dig it. antibacterial body wash

Target, handily enough, had Dial antibacterial body wash on sale 2 for $9. I settled for one -- mandarin grapefruit -- YUMMMMM. It's an enormous bottle and should last months! Dilemma solved. antibacterial body wash

If it was a Target Greatland, those rock. We have one here. I always get trapped in the shoe dept. Ooops!

Well, now you know where to go.

I think that's what it was, yeah. I've never seen one before. It was pretty cool! I just had to go in and get what I went for and get out, though, because I hardly have any money to spend in the first place, and I didn't want to spend what I have left! LOL!

Oh Candy, that's horrible. Is it a SuperWalmart? I was going to mention that if you can use it, they carry huge bottles of Suave Antibacterial Handsoap with moisturizing lotion. It's the only kind I can tolerate on my hands. Look in the handsoap aisle. The little sink size bottles are a dollar and something and the refills, which I buy are a little over $3. Maybe you can use that???

Hugs,

Jan

Search for an organic body wash product.

Try a product with this organic ingredient: white willow bark (Salix Alba Bark Extract) contains salicylic acid (has antibacterial properties)

White willow bark is what aspirin is made from (I'm allergic, sigh.) just so you know.
