Hi I am not sure if i am in the right place on the board to be writing this but i need some help. I am not sure if this had to do with my PTSD or not but i thought i would bring it up anyway.
I am going thorugh a great deal of lower back pain, it comes and goes but when the next pain comes it is sharper than the one before and its a shooting pain that shoot right through my spine. Does anyone have anything similar, or can anyone help me with this? If there is anyone out there readthing this and can help me, please write. THanks Bearhugs.

Stress sure does have a lot to do with how tense our muscles are! When my muscles tighten, they pull bones out of place! My ligaments have stretched and didn't return to normal length... some of that is due to the physical injury, but some is due to my muscles staying over tight and...

Low back pain is a common area of distress for a number of mental issues... it's the weakest part of the spine. I use anything and everything to ease it... hot baths, heating pad, stretching (gotta keep hamstrings stretched or it affects the lower spine), ice packs, TENS, and pain med.

I'm sorry you're hurting. Since you're aware, you can find what's causing it, imo! Good wishes.

Hi Bear,

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Sky is very right about stress causing back pain. Just to be on the safe side, I would go to a Dr and be checked. That's always a good idea.

I wish you the best.

Jan
