Hi, headaches are a big problem with me. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Are these migraines, or headaches? For migraines,, you need to see your doctor.

I have frequent headaches -- aspirin is the ONLY thing that works for me. I take 2 and within 1/2 hour it's gone. Sometimes my headache is due to a herniation in my neck, and i can tell the difference between a normal headache and one caused by the herniation. When it's from the disc, I use a soft cervical collar that you can buy at a pharmacy or a health supply store. That works within a few minutes.

If you get any "zings" down your arms or a "zing" in your neck with these headaches, you better ask your doc for an MRI of your neck. You might have some disc problems. Or maybe you should ask him anyway since you have frequent headaches.

Keep us posted as to what happens, ok? Hugs, Lee

Stop using your computer , have some rest and you'll be fine. If that fails in a day or two... go to a doctor. Migraines usually last for a day so you should determine what kind of headache is it.

Yes I get headaches very often. I'm not sure what causes them. When you have a headache, are you sensitive to light? Are you nauseous (bad spelling, sorry)? You should talk to a dr about it, as others as posted, just to be sure it isn't anything serious. Who knows, the doc may be able to prescribe some magical drug to alleviate your pain!

Talk to your doctor. If it is migraines and you get them frequently, you can be put on a medicine to try to prevent them (a daily med) and also get a rescue med for if one happens.

Be aware though that a lot of the migraine specific meds (imitrex, maxalt, etc) can have serious interactions with anti-depressants. If you can't take any of those, Migranal nasal spray may be an option. It is what I use now.

Headaches can be due to all sorts of things. Allergies, infections, spine problems. You really need to see your doctor to determine the exact cause and then he can help you take care of it. Good Luck!
