I went to my Dr. today about my chest injury. It is no better and he said it should have healed by now. He told me I have to wear the brace for at least three more months.

My right rib cage will not stay attatched to the sternum. It pops loose. It's very sore and I am in great pain if I lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.

Do any of you know anyone who has had this problem? I am hoping I can find a Dr. who can sew it back or something. I'm not sure what or whom to ask.

Thanks.

Jan

No, but if I remember and you don't have an answer, I see my PT... oh wait, when do I see him?? Do you know anyone with a chest injury? sigh. And btw, a gallon of milk is way too heavy! Maybe you aren't realizing the weight of things you are lifting, nor of the activities you are doing and how many muscles you're using??? idk (((hugs)))

Thank you for writing. You are probably right. A gallon of milk is heavy, but I just can't afford to buy it 1/2 gallon at a time. It costs a lot more.

We've got apt inpections again coming up from the 3rd to the 7th. They say they "randomly" pick 20% of the apts for the owners & bank lenders to check, but I don't believe it. Mine is always nice and clean so they come here.

This time my carpet will not be cleaned and if they do come, I'll get written up for it, but I can't help it. I can't use the carpet cleaner.

My friend Tammy might be able to help me. She will do it if she can. I tried last month and tore everything open again and I'm just not going to do it.

Hugs,

Jan
