Well on top of all my other issues ( depression, anxiety) I can not stand how bad the sound in my ears is getting. I've had this for over 20 years but its getting so bad. Can anyone else relate to this and have you found any help for it? I've tried isoflavanoids, fisoil, vitamins of all sorts. When I look on the net there are supposed cures but of course they are costly. I'm hoping someone knows of a way to cope or something that helps. Thank you.

The ringing sensation is called tinnitus. Since this is a diagnostic label and nothing more, treating it requires figuring out the cause in your case. Normally, it's from your inner hairs cells being damaged from loud noises but they also are destroyed from age. In humans, they cannot regrow. The task is figuring out how they were damaged, whether the cause can damage other parts of your ear structure, etc... . Additionally, it can be neurological and not tinnitus, although generally it is tinnitus.

If it is bothering you quite a lot, then you should visit an ENT who will likely have you see an audiologist or an otologist.
