I don't think I have really had a headache before (completely) but recently I think I might have. My head is so tight and behind my eyes I can feel it constricting and it hurts so much, since going to bed on Sunday night though I have only been able to sleep 14 hours totally up until today. I remember recently feeling like my eyes were being odd before it started and slowly over the space of an hour something felt more wrong. And eventually I could not see properly, there was this really unusual rippling everywhere I looked that was sort of like an aurora that you see in the sky, it was quite worrying when it happened.
With this it's been quite scary, has something caused this to happen? I have been so exhausted daily and so heavy as though I want to collapse at times, where breathing is completely tiring, and I would like to just stay still when that tiredness happens, all of these things have come on, and this unusual smell that nobody else seems to smell that is always there. I apologies if this seems confusing, but does anybody know what might be making this happen? |

I'm wondering if these symptoms could be like a migraine. Does anybody know?

If this is something new for you, it would be a really good idea to see your doctor. There are several things, including migraines, that can cause those symptoms, but it is really important to get checked to stay safe and to get some help with whatever may be causing these symptoms. Even if/when it passes, please contact your doctor to let them know what is going on and take good care meanwhile. I hope this passes soon, feel better!

It sounds very much like a migraine. I get them a lot and have the visual disturbances you have described. When I get a migraine, I am ultra-sensitive to lights, sounds and smells.
If it is still as painful as it was, you might want to go to the doctor and talk to them about it. There are medications that can be given to end migraines (although they tend not to be AS effective when not taken right away) |
