Mel, when you have the MRI, make sure they position your knee comfortably. It takes 1/2 hr to complete the test and the techs cradle your knee so it remains perfectly still the entire time. Make them take the time to position you comfortably.

Been there, and I didn't have them do it. I made a huge mistake!

Hugs,

Jan

as long as it is bent it causes almost no pain.... it the straightening out that cause bad pain.. it feels as if i have somethign crammed up under my knee cap.. like an air bubble or something.. but it hurts... does that make sense

It makes perfect sense, Mel. Just make sure if they don't place your knee comfortably that you fuss until they do. It's hard for us to fuss, isn't it?

I hope you feel better really soon and stay off that leg!

Hugs,

Jan

not only the knee, but the back too! Make sure they put something under both knees so the pressure if off your back... maybe call them to make sure they will do this for a knee MRI??? If not, do you have extra pain med you can take to help you get through this? ((((MRB)))

kind of a repeat from general..... i have gotten the mri results and it shows a tear in my cartilidge under my knee cap...... so surgery it is....... but so you guys know..... i also had him look at the bottom of my foot and he saw the planters warts... he said that we could freeze them off in his office but that it would hurt and since my knee is hurt he didnt want me to be too wobbly......... so he said for me to try dr scholls planters wart removal pads... if not then he will freeze them off..........
yuck yuck yuck!!!!!!
