Hello it's me again.
Thunderstorm season has begun now, and I'm really freaked out and stressed out because of it. I check weather reports every minute for changes, I look at the sky for any changes with the clouds and whenever there's supposed to be a thunderstorm I always start to stress a lot. I eat a lot when I'm stressed, I scratch my skin until I'm almost bleeding, I bite my nails and the skin around my nails. I have talked to my mother who isn't afraid of thunderstorms and she usually hug me really tight when there's a thunderstorm and I get to rest my head on her chest to feel calm. But now she's not home. There's a thunderstorm here now, and I have been vomiting constantly for 2 hours because of this stress and I'm just going mad right now. I keep scratching my skin and I'm crying hysterically. I've been scared of thunderstorms since I was a child, and I'm starting to lose hope that this fear will ever go away for me. Please, I need help. |

Have you tried meds like the benzodiazepines? How about cbt therapy?
