hi there, the past two days i have been (what I'd guess to be) ill with something i have never experienced before. two days ago when i broke up from college for my a-levels study leave i was perfectly fine in the morning. a couple of hours before i left though, i started not to feel so great and by the time i was taking the bus home i was so unbelievably cold, but my skin was so hot. what's odd is that my hands go purple-orange when i am really cold and that was happening even though i was actually really hot. towards the end of the journey it was becoming really difficult to lift my arms and my head began to feel sore.

since an hour after making it home that day my head has been aching more than i have ever felt before, sometimes i can even see 'pulses' of everything becoming distorted in turn with my heartbeat. my heart has been feeling really sore too, or maybe it's my lungs i'm not too sure, but it really hurts to move and breathing has been a little painful. i really am struggling to move about much because my head has been spinning and everywhere has been aching and going a little numb with pins-and-needles too. i know it sounds dramatic but does anyone have any ideas of what is happening? it's become a struggle to pretend i'm okay for this long

I really think you need to go to the doctor! And if you don't have a doctor, go to the emergency room. You need care - and you should get it TODAY. Don't wait around any longer, please! You could have something serious.

So don't play around with this. It might just be a minor virus, but at the same time it could be something serious too. So please see your doctor!
