Was told today I have Eustachian tube dysfunction and chronic sinusitis. umm duh on the last one. Ive been singulair and Flonase and taking allergy shots for months now and still getting sinus infection symptoms and feeling miserable. I get ear pain a lot. Sudafed and such do not help me. Even 2 rounds of antibiotics and the round of levaquin I took last week havent helped. My ears still hurt. At least the vertigo went away. So now my allergist who I went to today about this has give me a different type of antibiotic to take for 3 weeks and said I need to see an ENT. I found one covered by my Medicaid and go next Tuesday.

I wonder what to expect from that visit. I have a lot of anxiety from the unknown. I just want to feel better! Anyone else suffer from this stuff?

I think I've got this. I have a nasal drip that makes me cough & makes my ears hurt and itch.

I have TMD. It causes all sorts of issues even though I had jaw surgeries (my teeth don't go together in the back and if I don't keep them built up by the DDS I get sinus and migraine and oh my!

It's fixable.

I find it's allergies and tmj that cause my issues. It's common with tmj to get ear pain and feel ear pressure and whooshing noises and popping. Ent will be able to diagnose and ask the dentist about a mouth guard. The jaw bone sits right in front of the ear.

My insurance does not cover for a custom made mouthguard so I am using one from a store. But I have been getting treatment from a chiropractor for nearly a month now. So far I haven't noticed a huge difference but it does help after I see him! And I think my main issue is that I still clench. Its not something I have stopped immediately. Also the master herbalist at the chiropractor has recommended I try taking calcium/magnesium and something called nutricalm<I cant afford that one.
