I did read it, Rhapsody, but thanks anyway. Anyone else here find it hard taking pills? Sounds like a good idea!

LOL! They don't need to justify it. You want it, they got it, pay their price or look elsewhere. Anyone else here find it hard taking pills?

I thought of you this afternoon, Maven. My BIL had a pill splitter/crusher that he was using at the kitchen counter for his back pain pills. So, I asked him how much it was. His was $24!!! Anyone else here find it hard taking pills? He's in the Navy and has really good coverage so he got reimbursed for it.

The one I have is like the one on this page. Does it look like it should cost five bucks (never mind the price on this ebay page)? It's crazy!

Dad takes cod liver oil capsules, and they're pretty big...I'm guessing they can't be chewed Anyone else here find it hard taking pills?, but I could practise with them.

Check out the "kind" of acid; think about it, "citric acid" is vitamin C and you drink it in orange juice everyday :-)

I don't recommend practicing on cod liver oil capsules; I got the brilliant idea in my early 20s that since it was "good" for you and our grandparents took it as children that I could take it no matter how bad it tasted. I put a spoonful in my mouth and spit it out all over the mirror in a fast, high projectile stream :-) I've NEVER tasted anything so nasty in my life!!! LOL, it stinks too and I wasn't able to clean it all up easily as it got everywhere in my bathroom and from then on, going into the bathroom I could smell it and would practically gag.

That's a good point, Perna. Anyone else here find it hard taking pills? These are mefenamic acid, though...I'm not sure how "acidic" that is, but some of the side-effects sound pretty nasty, it was enough to put me off taking the pills for a while after I got them. Anyone else here find it hard taking pills?

Oh, nice! Anyone else here find it hard taking pills? Don't think I'll be trying those, then, that sounds worse than buttercup syrup... Anyone else here find it hard taking pills?

I've always had trouble swallowing pills. When I was a little kid, I couldn't swallow them at all. Now I can swallow pills or capsules. But I can't swallow a gelcap to save my life. The irony being that I think those are designed to be easier to swallow.... Go figure.

When I was a little kid, we took a halibut liver oil capsule every morning. I was too afraid to try to swallow a pill, so I used to chew it and swallow it. I LOVED it... loved feeling it squirt between my teeth. It grossed my sister out, though.
