Anyone else suffer from tinnitus? I hear a high-frequency noise in both ears almost all the time. It doesn't always bother me, but it's always there, especially at night. I read somewhere that it is a side effect of lithium. I hope that it is, because otherwise it would be a permanent condition that will only get worse.

I have it very badly,, all the time and quite loud.. but mine was caused by loud gunfire at 15 years of age.. I am now 57 and it has never ceased for even a minute ... I pray your's does go away.... ...if it is a issue to sleep try a background noise like white noise or a fan.. good luck..

I have it very badly all the time. It's probably from a combination of ear plugs, loud ear phones, but it got terribly worse since I was forced off Klonopin two years ago. I don't know how to stand it other than trying to ignore it. It's horrible. So loud.

yeah, me and my brother have it, and we both hear voices. do you hear voices? i sometimes wonder if it's related to mental illness in some way. maybe we have inner ear problems and that's why we Think we hear things that aren't really there.. so many possibilities as to why we are crazy ya know?
