Welcome to PC.

Please go and see a doctor. I have the occasional eye floaters but I was told by the specialist that it is normal for my age. Unless a qualified doctor checks things out nobody can give you an answer on this. Doctors/eye specialists are the best people to see for diagnosing and treating problems with your eyes.

Good Luck.

no eye floaters are not bacteria. they are bits of eye tissue that has come off your eyes and floated in the liquids of your eyes around until they end up in your line of vision. they usually signal other health issues (cancer, eye problems, degenerative health issues....). example in me it was one of the symptoms I had\have with my MS (multiple Sclerosis).

here is a link that explains them and what can cause them

Eye Floaters: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment

my suggestion is contact an eye doctor in your location...(same place you can get glasses, contacts at usually have eye doctors on staff) they can tell you whether your eye floaters need treatment or not and whether you have other health issues that may be causing this.

Eye floaters are a common issue with most of the people and majority of them ignore them and move forward. The thing is that generally the eye floaters don’t interfere with eyesight, so people don’t bother about it. But sometimes, like you are experiencing right now, the floaters may cause a subtle shadow over the vision especially in sunlight. I had a similar situation with my eyes and the number of eye floaters increased suddenly. I was taken to a nearby Lasik eye centre and done a Lasik eye surgery. My floaters got completely removed by the surgery. So if you feel that the floaters are increasing, then better have a surgery done at the earliest.
