I just got the results of my second cat scan of my chest. First one three years ago was negative. This one has ten nodules on it. I have had chronic bronchitis and chronic asthma for 6 years now with over 30 lower respiratory infections. So now i will go for a cat scan every 6 months and if they grow out they go, along with part of the lung. I felt like i was kicked int he stomach when i opened up the letter which contained the report. Ive expected this but its still sucks the breath right out of me. I am not looking for a reply just typing this for myself really.

((Heyjoe))

I can't imagine getting a letter like that. But I am so glad you are taking care of yourself.

Hang in there, the next 6 months will be challenging but all of us here at PC will be here with ya!

(((((heyjoe))))) I've never had news delivered to me like that in a letter... it is hard enough when it is received "in person" so I can just imagine a letter....
I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and that you are in my prayers,,, sincerely, freewill

OH yeah, me too....hence, my worrying about what "could/might" happen.

Gee Joe, it's your professional training to go out and confront things before they get out of control, so I don't know how you wouldn't feel like this.

The challenge for me is to appreciate the moment. To live in the moment as much as possible because there, when we confront the fear, we are okay. Just that moment....

So, today you are okay. Enjoy, it's what we have now, and that's a good and blessed thing.
