Is it better to eat 3 meals a day, OR eat many times throughout the day?

4-6 "small" meals a day is much healthier.

Understanding what a "small" meal actually is .... well that's hard because portion size have become ridiculous anymore.

Many times throughout the day IF you don't eat more than you would in those 3 big meals!

Eating more often eliminates the insulin peaks and lows.... creating a more stable system... it also allows for your body to fuel itself and dispense with what it doesn't fear it will need (because it's starving?)

With several small meals throughout the day. I felt better. I wasn't as hungry between meals. I was in better shape. My weight stayed level. My lab values were more normal.

My schedule now only allows for three meals, and sometimes even only 2 as sometimes I work I d just cannot get a break. I am hungry throughout the day. I am having trouble regulating my weight and sugar levels, and I do not have as much energy to get through the day.
