Does anyone else suffer from this? It's been a nightmare for seven years for me. I was diagnosed with intertrigo and treating topically and it came to my attention that my symptoms matched up with a kind of psoriasis. My father and many first cousins have the more common types of psoriasis where it builds up in various patches on the skin. But mine is in skin creases and folds, is bright red, burns, and has a smell. It's completely embarrassing! I'm glad I have the correct diagnosis now, through skin biopsy, I just wish I didn't have to deal with it at all!

I haven't found a whole lot on the subject but I'm satisfied with what I know. I'd really like to chat with others dealing with this. Thanks, y'all!

Hello beeutterfly: I'm sorry you are having to struggle with this. I do not have the condition you describe. Both as a child, & as a young & middle-aged adult, I had the more common type of psoriasis... mostly on my knees & elbows. Later on I had some problems with it on my hands. But as I have grown older it has all pretty-much disappeared. Instead, what I have now is a skin condition called rosacea on my face & chest. If it isn't one thing, it's another... I wish you well...

Thanks for your reply! Just so you know, psoriasis and rosacea are two separate conditions. I know because I have both lol. I'm glad your issues have improved. It's encouraging.
