I had a doctors appointment Wednesday at 3:20 PM to get my INR (Warfarin/Blood thinner)level checked and it was 1.8 so it was low, it's supposed to be between 2.0 and 3.0. When I saw the doctor I asked her about a couple things, one of them was for them to give me a copy of the proof and the doctors/Rheumatologists notes proving that I have Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome. She left the room and a little while later she came back and sat down and said "I'm glad you asked us for proof that you have that Syndrome because we looked and nowhere in the doctors notes or anything does it say you have Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndome so it's been a little over a year since you started the Warfarin/Blood thinners and since you don't have that syndrome I give you permission to stop taking the Warfarin/Blood thinners"...but that I need to be very aware that if I think I might have another blood clot (and she told me what the signs are) that I need to go to the hospital immediately.
YAY, I DON'T HAVE TO TAKE WARFARIN/ BLOOD THINNERS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!! Just gonna make getting my next tattoo I plan on getting in April a little bit easier. ![]() ![]()

That is really good news and even better that you stood up to make them accountable. Way to go! Hoping all goes well and take good care meanwhile.

Well I originally started Warfarin because I had like multiple blood clots in my left lung and they wanted to make sure they were gone. But for some reason someone thought that I had that Syndrome that makes you prone to blood clots that's why they had me on blood thinners for life at one point.
