I think it could be several different things. I've had something that soulfs similar which the dr labelled a virus one time ... can you see a dr to check what is going on?

I saw my allergist the other day and when he checked my ears everything was great.
I do have tmj but treating that with a bite splint and things are better than they used to be. my pharmacist friend suggested getting drammamine |

I once had this feeling for about 5 days. My doctor called it viral labyrinthitis. I didn't take any medication for it because I wasn't nauseated. All I did was lay down when it got really bad and avoided bending over since that would cause me to fall.
There is a treatment that involves moving the body and head. An ENT can do this. I'm not sure what the procedure is called. My friend's girlfriend had it done in the ER and apparently it cured her. I also have TMJ and get intermittent tinnitus. It has never caused vertigo, just nasty headaches. If you have a family history of MS you should get checked. Pins and needles can be caused by many different conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, which can also affect the feet, and vitamin deficiencies. When was the last time you had a physical?

I have seen a hand specialist and they suspect that mine is carpal tunnel because it does react to their tests. I've had steroid shots and it's helped a little bit but I have it occasionally still and I have it in my feet still too. The carpal tunnel does not affect your feet because that part of your body is in your wrist. There is another thing I can't remember the name of it it's in your feet that does that though. My moms first symptoms of MS were pins and needles in her hands and feet. And I looked at him asking cause this feeling too. I saw my doctor just recently and they can't find anything that's outwardly wrong for the vertigo and such.

My psychiatrist thinks that I probably need to see a neurologist to get all of this figured out.

Well...the allergist missed something!
I went to a walk-in clinic. She said "Oh goodness child!" I have a ton of fluid on my ear and my nose is inflamed etc. So I have some med to take care of the ickiness and calm the vertigo! Guess what...its the stupid dogs Im dog watching causing all of it. Im slightly allergic and being there a week is pissing my body off! |

I am glad they found the fluid and sinus issue. It can be miserable to deal with that and you have my sympathies knowing what that is like; the vertigo is terrible when you have fluid in your ears. Hopefully it will clear up soon with the meds. Hang in there meanwhile.

I've had the vertigo and rocking since April 2013 when they forced me off benzos. The nausea isn't as bad but I often lose my footing.

So its been two week yesterday that I have had this fluid in my ears/vertigo! I had called my Dr after a week and asked what I should take because Mucinex wasn't helping. He said take stahist ad which is Sudafed and an antihistamine together.
Now I still have the vertigo everyday and sinus pressure. My ear feels itchy and Im hearing crackling noises. It hurts a little every now and then now too. |
