So awhile back i found this pill ondansetron for reasons i won't reveal i kept it tonight i decided to look up what it is and its a nausea pill but its not just any nausea pill its givrn after chemotherapy and radiation basically for cancer.but no one in my family has cancer.i thought it could be my moms friend who has cancer but we haven't seen her in ages.my dad is sick and hasn't told us much about how sick which makes me worried and i don't know if it is unnecessary worry or how to process this information

Sometimes medications or used for reasons other than what is the normal reason so maybe it was prescribed for something else. I don't think I would worry about it.

I take it for nausea related to my migraines. A friend takes it for nausea related to his IBS. Another takes it related to the nausea he has with acid reflux. Another took it during her pregnancy. It is just an anti-nausea medication, plain and simple, taken for a sorts of reasons; nausea related to cancer is just one of many,many reasons and there more than I can list. Please don't jump to conclusions. I can understand your worry and if concerned, just talk to him about it.

Passionfruit, I understand your concern about the pill. If it really bothers you, show your dad and ask him if the pill is his. Say the name of the pill and look at him. You could also ask him, is there something you want to talk about dad? I hope this helps. If not then throw the pill away an just pray for everyone that you know. Basically you cannot let this obsess you or cause anxiety. Blessings
