Hi there,

You need to go to a sleep specialist - usual a pulmonary doctor. It sounds like you could either have sleep apnea (stop breathing while your sleeping at night and cause extreme fatigue in the day), or narcolepsy (falling asleep for no reason).

Do get this checked asap because there are things that can help you. My friends mom had narcolepsy and she didn't want to go to the doctors. She fell asleep driving and she died in the accident.

Tranquility

You may have a medical condition called Narcolepsy. I would get in touch with a Dr. who is certified in sleep disorders, an ENT or neurologist....mine was the latter. They will probably order a "sleep study" to determine what is going on.

I have a sleep disorder and am currently using a bipap machine at night, along with provigil during the day to help me stay awake.

Good luck
