That is the day my doc will be operating on my left knee. I am so hoping it goes as well as my right knee. The only time I have knee pain in that knee is when the barometer drops and it starts to rain. Today it has rained all day so both my knees hurt and it didn't help that I trapsed all over walmart and then the grocery store with my mom.

I have Plica Syndrome and he also thinks I have torn my meniscus in that knee also. I think it only became a problem when I started to exercise more and so was using the knees more and then they started to hurt. I have had knee problems my whole life but just recently it has been a huge problem. I am looking forward to the surgery just to get it over with.

Hey JBug -

I had arthroscopic surgery for torn meniscus on my left knee - it was a piece of cake.

They also scraped some arthritis but it was a bit too late, so I followed with synvisc injections and ultimately had my left knee replaced 3 years ago when I was 39. That was not a piece of cake but I got through it.

Good luck - I hope it's easy for you.

Tranquility
