Is it possible for a teenager to decrease in intelligence from age, say, 6 or 7, to 14 without the use of drugs? I think that this has happened.

I'm not sure.
Maybe it is that the work you did in the past (simpler work) allowed your brain to work in the way it prefers, than nowadays when you're being forced to learn in certain ways for tests etc? Or perhaps you were advanced mentally for your age when you were younger, and now your classmates have caught up with you, so you don't appear any better than they are and you find academic work as challenging as they find it?
