I had sex last night and the guy took off the condom and continued; so I made him put one on and he said not to worry because he put one on before he came. Not so sure about that, like I know people have said that that's disrespectful and a jerk thing to do... not sure how I feel about it; but, I was wondering I noticed I have a small lump under my arm, er well I guess it's like in my armpit and was wondering if it could be like a sign of illness like an std or if it would take longer to develop whatever or what not? Should I be worried about pregnancy and stds even if it was a very quick or short time frame and he had not came yet?

1. do not ever have sex with someone without protection.
2. it's too soon for you to associate the lump under your arm with an STD.
3. you say you're not sure how you feel about him not using the condum and you're worried about an STD? that's confusing.
4. every female that he's ever used it with, you've had sex with them now. cells shed and whatever they had, you'll have.
5. if you're luckier than most, they will not have had anything infectious.

It seems to be too early to show symptoms of an STD .. that is IF you were exposed to something. You don't know if you were or not. I would suggest getting to a clinic for testing to be sure. Is there a planned parenthood near you that you can get to ??

Not sure what your exposure might be to getting pregnant - if you can get to a clinic they can probably advise you with more accurate information.

Sorry this happened to you - it was not very considerate of this person. He does not sound like someone who considers anyone else but himself.

Another thing to know, is, you can get pregnant or STDs even if he hadn't come. Men have pre-ejaculate fluids and lubrication that come out before they ejaculate, and there is semen contained in that fluid. Respect yourself and protect yourself.

Went to the Doc's the other day and she prescribed bc and I go back in a month to get tested and the normal stuff... So I feel better about that.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this; thing is I am still waiting for my appointment to get tested and just found a lump type thing between my leg and outer skin from my vagina sorry if that's graphic, just trying ot explain... anyway I thought I was just sesitive from being hot and sweating or whatever but I touched that area and wow was that painful, I mean I've had kidney stones and thought that was painful this was pretty much up there... not sure if I should wait or try seeing if I can get in to see her sooner. Advice/feedback is helpful; thanks... or if anyone has any idea what this might be that would be good too. The only other symptom type thing I can think of that might go with it, is that sometimes I get really hot eventhough I have a ceiling fan and small ac in my living room and so I strip down to feel comfy... in my home with all shades shut et cetera of course

Evil - it sounds like it could be a boil or an ingrown hair. They are very common and very painful. The way to help is put hot packs on it and it will come to a head like a pimple and break. Once it breaks it doesn't hurt anymore.

Evildouble good for you for looking after yourself and going to the doc. Sounds like the doc is waiting to test to see if anything develops? I hope everything is ok.....please please use caution with who you choose to have sexual contact with. It may seem right now that you feel you have to have sex to be liked, but you don't! Just take care of you and listen to the doc. And insist on a condom.....if the guy doesn't use a raincoat, he ain't gettin none!

one other thing.... don't fall for "i'm allergic to latex" excuse, ok? fortunately, it never happened to me, but i've heard about it. it is true that some people are allergic to latex. but, you have to think for yourself. be prepared.... just wanted you to know about this particular allergy. i don't know if any would use it as an excuse, but i don't trust people well when it comes to things like this, anyway.....

So, I finally got to see my pcp today. She doesn't think I'm pregnant. She did a test for std's so I'll feel better once I know the results. Things went ok with that today.

Just a word of caution.....My mother died of vulvar cancer. A lump on her vulva (the area you described). She thought it was a cyst, boil, ingrown hair......until she went in to have it checked....she let it go until the lump was the size of my fist & it was cancer. It actually was skin cancer that grows in that area of the female body. It comes from being irritated & is a sore that doesn't heal or heals up somewhat only to come back.

If you do a search on "vulvar Cancer" you can read about the causes & issues involved. The cancer had not only spread into her groin but into her %#@&#! area by the time she did anything about it. This is probably worse case scenerio but if it can happen to my 80 year old mother, it can happen to younger people who are careless with that area of their body.

Just something more to think about when you are thinking that having sex with just anyone is a wonderful recreation.
