trileptal is also a powerful antiseizure drug. my mother takes it. she too has problems with mixing letters or words. but it has helped her tremendously otherwise. the down side is how expensive they are. doc's are using these type drugs alot now a days for nerve pain. i take lyrica for the nerve pain in my back and legs. it took about two weeks before i got the full benefit of it. i have bilateral nerve root impengement to both legs and it has helped me so much with the leg pain.

i hope you can get some relief with the new meds and finally get some answers. i'll be praying for you and hoping for the best. keep us posted hunni.

love you

Went to see my Neurologist today. Results of MRI were normal. Dont see how anything about my brain being normal but if he says so.. guess I gotta go with it. Also..it showed alot of sinus inflammation. Which I dont understand cause I had sinus surgery 2 yrs ago this week! I havent had many problems at all.. at least not like I used to have. An occasional sneeze or two with allergies and only one infection since surgery. Compared to an infection at least every month. But I guess that sinus problem can cause the TN from what I understand. So he gave me some samples of the Trileptal before I go buy it to see if it helps now.
