I can get 20+ hours literally and still be tired. I've been trying to stay up all day so I can do things, but it's hard. All I can think about is sleep. I get dizzy from being so tired. I had blood work but everything is fine except my cholesterol. I have tachycardia and on a beta blocker and Wellbutrin and Lexapro, but I've been taking them for a few months with no problems. It's been more recent I noticed being this way. But I'm trying to make a better schedule and maybe that will help.

A good schedule can help, for sure. I'm always tired, too, and constantly think about sleep. I have a good sleep schedule, but it doesn't matter. I suspect it's a medication side effect...some of us just have the annoying, discouraging side effect of tiredness.

Everything is not fine because being tired like that is not normal. Everything does not show up in basic blood work.

Thank you. I have an appointment on the 18th. I'll ask about this.

I am with you.
- I recently got tested for Vitamin B12 and it was low. I don't know if that was a factor.
- I also was a little low on iron but, I kind of worry about raising it higher. Only because once I supplemented and it went way too high.
- I had my thyroid tested and the only problem I came up with was a T3 and reverse T3 problem but I have been told that vitamin deficiencies can case it.
- the beta blocker seems like a target.
- You should always get a copy of your blood tests and make sure they are optimal. To hear my doctor tell it I am the picture of health. But checking things on the internet... though my results are normal... they are not optimal.

I'd try getting a sleep study done. Maybe you have sleep apnea, which is causing you to get nonrestful sleep. (Incidentally, you don't have to be overweight to have it--my uncle is super skinny and has it.)

Yes I actually did a sleep study at home. I didn't have it. But I have seen recently research that says sleep apnea is a nutritional deficiency making your pallet too weak to say up proper at night. SO maybe you just need nutrients.

You may want to try an active lifestyle. Sleep for eight hours a day and wake up early and do some exercise. I know how pretty hard it is to wake up early when you are not used to, but you have to try. After waking up, keep engaging on activities that will distract you from thinking about sleep.

Sometimes over-sleeping can cause us to be more sleepy.

Definitely keep asking your doc about this, there is usually a reason though it can take a while to find it.

I think it probably is the beta blocker. I didn't know that they can make you feel crappy.
