I’ve been really stressed out lately. I’ve been under pressure from work, and I work weird hours in the middle of the day. Like 12-5. I’m too nervous to eat much before work. Then I only have a 15 minute break. By the time I get off from work I’m not usually very hungry.
Thursday I only ate 745 calories. I was way too stressed to eat. I don’t keep unhealthy food in the house anymore. So the stuff I do have is low calorie and filling. I already lost 80 pounds from getting of psych meds. I am only like 10-15 pounds overweight. Today I noticed my pants that wouldn’t even come half way up my thighs now fit and have room to spare. My shirt is loose and I have noticed I look thinner then I did a couple of weeks ago. I usually can’t tell if I’ve lost weight. I’m guessing this is from stress? I haven’t had time to weigh myself. So I’m wondering, can you lose a lot of weight from stress? Has anyone else noticed a change in their weight from stress? |

Yes. You can lose weight from stress. And depression and anxiety. I lost 35 lbs due to my depression. People are telling me "you look great." They don't understand or know how I lost the weight though.

Yes, you can. Going off psych meds also makes it easier to lose weight.
