I hear it said that most illness is stress-induced. If that's the case, wouldn't it make sense for insurance to provide more mental-health care?
For example, city/state-funded insurance such as medicaid only covers one weekly psychotherapy session. Wouldn't it make sense to cover at least two hourly sessions so that the stress doesn't spill over and affect the body? |

A good book to read on this issue of stress and health issues: (find out what your health issues really mean) Feelings Buried Alive NEVER Die http://psychcentral.com/reviews/showcat.php/cat/5 |

The insurance companies might agree if Big Pharma didn't own America....But being that Big Pharma (the pharmaceutical companies) make the world go round, it's meds meds meds to treat all stress-induced illness...
Sad state of affairs. |
