Constant low energy and focus.
I see my doc tomorrow.
I dunno if it's that or depression.
Thanks for this!

InfiniteSadness, you are wise to see your doctor about chronic fatigue. There are many things that chronic fatigue can be a result of, besides depression: mono, narcolepsy, sleep disorders...etc. Make sure you get a full physical workup before determining that it is indeed depression.

I deal with chronic fatigue and have actually been using an energy management plan developed for narcoleptics (I am not diagnosed as such, but it still works). Try Googling narcolepsy non-med treatment, and suggestions for energy management come up.

Good luck with the doctor!

When we moved from California to Oregon, I got sick with a strange illness. I don't know what it was and I had no medical coverage at the time, so could only have one office visit and a CBC. It showed nothing, but I was constantly tired and weak for almost a year. It eventually went away but I had to work all through that. It was awful.

Medusax, from your description, it sounds like you could possibly have had mononucleosis or even epson-barr... both can last a year or more, and even have lasting effects....

i deal with chronic fatigue complicated by other things, such as sleep apnea, hypoxia, agoraphobia, IBS and diabetes. i recently began taking 2000 IU's of vitamin D3 and am recovering from the IBS and had a noticeable increase of energy in the past week.

IS, i hope you find a quick and easy fix; life is such a drag when you're tired all the time~

Chronic Fatigue?

Chronic Fatigue?
Wouldn't mono have shown up on the CBC?

Wow. My guardian angel must be hard at work because she led me to this thread. Chronic Fatigue explains so much. I know when it hit me
and now I can stop beating myself up for not fully recovering from the
heart attacks and the subsequent poisoning of the blood thinners.

Once again proving my inner critic is a moron.

SeeSaw, you genius! I'm all over that energy stuff--looking for it soon as this post is finished. So much better than what I had thought of. (Speed.).

You ladies are the best!
