I have a major resp. infection..... and asthma... and this is my second course of antibodtics.....I take advair and quick inhalor..

This time the gland on my right side of my neck is very swollen - like old fasjioned mumps.. and it hurts... owie.. owie..

the left side is a little swollen

anyone ever experience this... with the glands???

Yeah, sounds like you have an infection :-) Ugh, sorry you are in such pain. I have asthma but haven't had a cold or any infection or anything yet since I've had it (knock on head/wood).

All the web pages say it might take a couple weeks for the gland to go down to "normal" again.

im surprised that they dont give you a course of steroids....that gives me the boost i need.

I am surprised... in this... stupid city... they just didn't.. let me... well.. you know... lol..

my PF... doc... refused to treat me... the family doc.. hasn't a clue what to do...

When I go through my sinus, then bronchitis infections, I feel like there are grapes in my neck. But like Joe said, I have to take steroids along with the antibiotics.
