I'm scared to start it. My dr says it's safe and works well to prevent stroke and heart disease. I read the possible side effects and they're scary. I have the prescription I just haven't taken it.
Dobi trust the dr. he's a new dr. or the pharmacist paperwork?

Do what is right for you but take something you feel better about. My spouse has taken it for years with no problems.. Honestly all med side effects are abit scary but sometimes the benefit out weighs the risk. I think there are a lot of choices in the cholesterol lowering category.

I've taken Statin drugs for years, and I'm evidently okay. I do also take CoQ10, since statins are supposed to deplete it.
