Last night I felt this painful bump the size of a dime on my upper left forehead. I looked today and it looks like the bump is almost inside my head. It really hurts and I've been getting headaches for awhile.

Should I see a doctor about this?

So sorry that you are suffering from this painful bump.

Yes, I think it would be helpful to see a doctor. Are you suffering any other symptoms besides the pain of the bump? Some symptoms might seem to call for a visit to an urgent care clinic or hospital emergency room. I don't want to scare or anything, but I don't think it would hurt to be mindful of other symptoms.

Do you know what caused the bump?

If it was last night and the pain has subsided now, then see if it happens again before approaching the doctor. Could be related to migraines but, I don't know. 'Headaches for a while' = doctor.

Pretty much your skull keeps your brain contained within your skull, and stuff doesnt really travel from like the skin of your head down thru your skull. There arent any cracks or holes, except like on your face.

If you watch dr pimple popper on youtube, she had a lot of old videos of people with fatty cysts that she removes from their scalps, but she never goes near the skull.
