Theres these 2 girls I know on facebook. One pretended to be trans for like 2 weeks. Has a super huge rack I know she hates. They both are really overweight and fake a ton of medical conditions.

I kinda want to make them jealous by getting super fit and posting a shirtless selfie.

I know thats kinda screwy, but I just dislike them.

A little off topic, but I was inpatient with this girl years back with very similar diagnoses to me (an eating disorder-most relevant, bipolar-we were both manic and had no judgement, BPD-there's a certain mindset in this one that's at play for sure), and we talked like twice, but we were kind of competing to see who could be "sicker"--skip more meals, sleep the least amount, be forced the most injections, etc. It was super messed up.

I mean, if you leave out the middle part (putting in tiny parentheses because my brain ain't workin right now) your situation gets:
(using revenge as motivation)-> getting super fit & posting shirtless selfie-> (posting pic to rub it in their faces)-> feeling better.

So I think it's a good idea, but I'm the one who just wrote the first paragraph of this post, so..."don't follow me I do stupid things."

Didn't Princess Diana do it with that red dress or something?

Princess Diana was hurt by her husband’s infidelity and wore a dress on the day he publicly announced his infidelity to show that she doesn’t care. I don’t believe it’s the same situation.

You don’t know these women and they aren’t going to care if random strangers on the internet lose or gain weight. I don’t think you can call it revenge if you don’t know each other.

Social media just creates so much drama and causes so many issues. Now if you want to get into great shape it’s all good. I just wouldn’t do it for or because of strangers. They’ll not care anyways

I know they are both obsessed with weight loss and get jealous easily. Its why they fake medical stuff. One would like pictures of me when I was heavier but not pictures of me when I was smaller and stuff.

Are you gaining anything positive from your interactions with these people? If not then I’d disengage. Getting fit is something you do for yourself not to spite others. If you get drawn into this it’s likely going to result in more negativity being drawn into your life and not good for your mental health.

Them being obsessed with weight loss or faking stuff is their issue. Not yours. So try not to make their problems to become yours. There’s no point in it

Read up on revenge before you even think of going this path! The anticipation of revenge has been shown to be much bigger than the actual satisfaction after it. You won't get the pleasure you are hoping for.

This is an old article Revenge may be all in the anticipation - Los Angeles Times (no pay wall) and there might have been more recent research since. Look it up.
