I go to my insurance’s website and use their form to find a PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN and it shows me like 3 pages of mental health nurse practitioners at the clinic across the street (which isn’t even the one I go to). Then I find Zocdoc and it says there are no PCPs taking new patients with my insurance within 25 miles of my zip code (I need to be able to get there by walking, biking, or bus).
I need one soon because I have to do a liquid diet more often than not to give my stomach a break or else I spew whatever I ate the same way it went in 4-10 hours after. I got referred to GI in April for extreme pain and nausea after eating, but wasn’t given any name or number or any information I could contact them with and they’ve never called me as we are entering September tomorrow so hopefully a new PCP won’t tell me she’ll do a referral and either not do it or refer me to someone who quit the practice a month prior or just didn’t follow up on her word.

If they have a phone number call. But I dont have much by me, and the ones I have dont take insurance. I do a telehealth because of it.

No, it wasn't.
Have to wait for a business day to call (it is still Sunday) and their website kept recommending mental health nurse practitioners at a practice I can't even go to. I don't need a mental health practitioner, I need a GP/PCP. On the 3rd page they recommended actual body doctors but in another state and there are no buses going to a nowhere town in another state, and that's too far to ride a bike especially if I need to see a doctor for whatever.
