When i first went to the doctor about my depression i got a blood test to check my thyroid and it came back as having increased levels. So had a 2nd test and it came back normal. Is this possible because even he said oh thats a bit weird and he never looked into it. Should he have done further tests? Is there a reason why this happens if its normal!

I'm not a doctor, but I have certainly had my share of thyroid level fluctuations, I think enough to say that there's nothing weird about it. But maybe this will help http://www.thyroid-info.com/articles...luctuating.htm

One type of thyroid disorder, Hashimoto's, includes fluctuating levels.
You might consider seeing an endocrinologist to explore this more. |
