NO! Don't cut yourself. Have you tried taking some OTC meds? maybe you have something seriously wrong and should go to the doctor. There are many reasons for headaches. I hope you feel better soon.

Bad idea. Do *not* cut yourself... what I'm betting that refers to is endorphins that are released when you're in pain that take away pain.

I'm guessing you've taken Advil or Tylenol or something like that? Try a cold cloth, and try to sleep. If it doesn't go away, you can check out this link - http://www.medicinenet.com/headache/article.htm which might help you identify if it is actually a headache, and not something else causing the pain (like posture or any other physical condition). If it concerns you too much, go to a doctor, okay?

Cutting yourself will do the same thing bitting your hand or pinching yoursefl will-----momentarily your mind will focus on the new pain and forget about your headache.

And after about 30 seconds you will have both a headache and a mess to clean up from your SI.

So if you can take some medication like Tylenol, Advil, or my favorite, Excedrin to help with your headache.

The pins and needles headache could be a Migraine Headache or a Tension Headache. Eitherway they are both painful.

If you have these often you should see a doctor to get treatment. I need to go myself one day soon.

I know that now. And I feel horrible for doing it. I also made myself sick and it did help for a while but then i just felt worse a few minutes after. I'm not really allowed to take pain medications. Thanks for the advice though everyone. I did not check your responses until after I did whhat I did.

Not allowed to take pain meds? headaches Can you talk to your doctor and ask what you CAN do for yourself the next time something like this happens so you don't have to cut?

((((((((((EHkittys)))))))))))) Send me a PM later and tell me how you're doing, okay?
