While brushing I noticed a red spot (size of a dime) on the back of my tongue. It has been there for a few days that since I noticed it. Was it something I ate, reaction to food, or something that should be checked?

Eeeek! - Did any one else click on the link to the "Black Hairy Tongue" Disorder....... that was a scary picture and now I have this weird feeling in my mouth - what is it?
