My bf has leukemia..he said it was called A.L.L I think. It's normally a child form but he's 20. Does anyone know anyone who has it or know anything about it? Thanks...

It's more common in kids but can happen at any age. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a great resource: ALL

Also try Mayo Clinic

I had another acute blood disease that could have turned into ALL, but didn't. ALL is a lot more easily treatable than what I had if it's caught early.

Thanks everyone..its just we met online...he lives in Italy and I live in USA and he won't talk about it. I know he's in the hospital now though.

My brother has leukemia... he's 12 though and got AML wich is rare in kids.... All you can do is try to be there for him really..

Ask him what he needs from you? Maybe he just needs to be not reminded of it sometimes? So you can be there for him in a way that he gets to do stuff and talk about stuff not related to his illness? just a thought
