epsom salt baths- magnesium relaxes your muscles giving a sense of calm
valerium root-is in the same family as valium
Tiger Palm...--they also have patches if its a certain area
make sure your getting enough potassium , magnesium
Vit-B defeciency causes sore muscles vit. B1 is thiamine you can get thiamine defeciency which cause sore muscles.

all this if you want to go a more natural route if this is a constant thing it's one of those where you need to look at your overall living and diet, enough vits. and minerals.
ect..... the list can go on
************************************************
if you want the pharma route
muscle relaxers
Benzo's, basically valium--- if you want to sleep at night it has muscle relaxing properties and calms you--

Not a doctor just lots of experience with trial and error remedies for pain talk to your doctor as well is always a good choice.
Thanks for this!

Has your doctor prescribed the long-acting pain medications? There are some like Opana ER, MS Contin, Methadone, etc. These are extended release and they work for 8 hours or so. They mfg. say they work for 12 hours, but they don't. The MAX is 8 hrs. You also could try the Fentanyl Patches that you wear for 3 days -- these work exceptionally well -- they are stronger than Morphine. That's what i'm on along with Methadone.

You might talk with your doctor about these. It's worth a try -- all he can do is say no, but since you're in that much pain I don't see why he would say no.

Do you have Fibromyalgia??? That's what it sounds like. Keep us posted! Hugs, Lee

Crazydancinggirl87,

Achiness can be a symptom of depression. Sometimes medication can help.

If it's overexercising, stop doing that. Warm compress on the muscles may help. Hot bath/shower. Sleeping also helps and trying to eat properly - they all affect how your body performs on physically athletic tasks.

A warming liniment such as icy hot, then wrap yourself in an electric throw or blanket.

You can get a foam roller that looks like this and roll on it. very sore muscles and it hurts to move even small amount at times .Any remedies?

They are about 15 dollars, others are more expensive but it's basically the same thing. You can lie on it and roll down and it cracks all the little muscles down your back. Some people use it to stretch their IT band or hamstrings too. I use it just for fun.

If it lasts for a long time and there's no cause, then I would say it's time to see a dr!
Thanks for this!

Ah, so you are trying to over exercise to loose more weight rather than all your other attempts with your ED? To start with, you need to get yourself into a healthy life style & stop doing the things that are hurting you.

Since you had sore muscles, hot showers are how I deal with sore muscles & the best are Epsom salt baths....the salt somehow helps the muscles feel better.

Best way to take care of problems like this is to NOT DO THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Hope you are feeling better by now

If you have an eating disorder, all bets are off; you're going to ache with/without exercising too much, you're missing needed nutrients such as magnesium.

http://www.vitamer.com/amino_acids.asp here if you feel like reading, i tend to overexcersize sometimes because i don't feel the pain, and when i do feel it coming on it gives me more energy to keep going ...gotta loves those endorphines.....it helps to have a partner so they can tell you when to stop (which i need) i also takes powders to help reduce this pain as well. just remember to give your body a rest every now and then.
glad your being active though so many people are not
