I've got laryngitis
 Never had it this bad before, I can't talk and it really hurts.... I've been drinking, sucking soothers, taking medicine, eating ice cream Anyone else know anything that'll soothe my throat? Nothing's taking the edge off Molly

Are you sure that's all it is? Laryngitis doesn't "hurt"...but what causes it can. Chloroseptic will numb it enough so you can eat.

warm(not to hot) tea with honey and lemon juice will sooth the pain and help it to heal. if not better in a day or so go to the dr. i get laryngitis on a regular basis, but about 2 years ago got a severe bacterial infection in my vocal cords. that hurt really bad and i couldn't even squeek out a sound.
