definitly treat the boyfriend, check whole family. i have heard that they particularly don't like hairspray, mousse and gel type products. had a friend who kept her kids hair full of mousse whenever there was headlice around and they never got it. just a thought.

Spray everything: all the furniture, pillows, bedding, car seats... and take all stuffed animals, if there are any, and tie them up airtight in plastic bags for two weeks.

They are a pain and kids pass them around so easily, playing head to head, hanging their coats, hats, sweaters together, etc.

Good luck!
