I found out that eating more than 1-2 times a day does make you lose weight. Since my appointment with the GI doc and her telling me to eat 6 small meals a day I've been trying to and the most I've been able to do is 4 but it has jump started my metabolism or something because since Thursday I have lost 3lbs.

I am excited. I am trying to work up the 6 meals and hopefully I can get there soon but even if I only stay at 4 it's still better than 1-2. My goal is to be at 250 by Sept but I know that's not going to happen but if I can be close I'll be happy. The reason I want to be there is I see the surgeon that did my Gastric Bypass and last year when I saw him he told me that when I get down to that weight he will do the next round of surgeries I need to have. I developled a hernia in my incision and have a bunch of excess skin and he told me he could take care of it but not until I reach that goal. I was hoping that when I see him on Sept.1 that I would be at my goal but I think if I stay on my course I'm going at right now I'll be close so who knows.

I'm a little over 3 years out from surgery and I have lost about 165lbs. I started out at 442 and now weigh 281.8.
