I hate when it rains or snows or anything like it!!!! My whole leg hurts, hip and down. I just took Celebrex for the pain, but I sure wish I had something stronger! I gotta remember to ask my doc one of these times, just for use when I really need it.

Have you tried Glucosamine as a preventative? I was told to use this by my ortho doc. I have the same problem and after hearing about too many times he told me about that and it works pretty good. I get mine at the dollar store.

I know exactly what you mean. When I was younger, I had many injuries & a few surgeries, It wasn't until I moved to Kentucky where the humidity is much higher than California that the pains started setting in.

Lets see, the ACL knee reconstruction - the knee is starting to not be as sturdy as it was after the surgery......need to do the strengthing exercises & yes, the glucosumine.

The broken finger from the horse reins - who would ever think a finger would hurt????

The neck fusion - sometimes I get a real "pain in the neck" that only a hot shower fixes.

cramps in my hands - the wierdest thing....I can be holding something & all of a sudden my fingers cramp up......not good for what I was holding....lol.

Oh yes, the fractured hip from the fall of the horse - I was feeling this pain in my hip area & then I remembered that was where the hip had been fractured. Sometimes I have a pain & have to think back to where it is & what happened to cause it way in my past.

I can truly feel for your rain pain's.......humidity pains are right in there with the rain pains (we are having a drought & haven't had rain for months...but the pains still show up).

I am feeling your rain pain today. Even with the supplements I take today has been a killer. We had a warm front blow through this morning bring T-storms and my knees are killing me today. I don't normally call the docs after hours because I feel guilty when I do but that's another thread. Any way I gave into my guilt and called the on call ortho and he told me what to do..I get to add Tylenol to my mix of meds. I was kind of secretly hoping he would call me in something but I'm still glad he didn't.
