I went to see my GP today because I have been itching for about a week now and over the weekend a rash popped up. He thought due to the type of rash and where it was on my body and the fact I have Tyger and have been exposed to other cats I probably have scabies. EWWW I have had them before and remember the ickiness of them. I have been prescribed a cream I am to rub all over myself now and again in 2 weeks.

My question is though I was told to wash everything I have come in contact with in hot water...how do you wash a couch in hot water? I spend most of my day lounging on my couch, watching T.V., napping, etc. So how do you wash a couch in hot water?

My scratching has been on my back and my arms and legs. It has raised little red spots and itches like words I try not to say LOL. Does your cats have fleas maybe? That is what it sounds like to me.

LOL Nooooooooooo. I'd advise getting some frontline. It goes between the cat's shoulderblades and it kills most of the nasty things the cat's bring in. Unfortunately its kind of pricey and I only get it when my mom gets it for her cats and I get one of her extra tubes.
