griffe, this may not apply to your burns, but when I had that 3rd degree burn on my wrist, when the infection stage passed, I started using vitamin E and aloe vera gel (directly from the plant) on it, and while I have a discoloration ... I no longer required a skin graft as they first said.

that might not be the case for you, but I felt like telling you about it in case you could use the information.

the vitamin E and aloe help new skin cells and also reduce scarrring, and there are better natural remedies being used today, and some medical products too. check the web and see, ok.
