 ((((((((((Blue & Jasper)))))))))) I would love to make it all better for you guys because you two so deserve to live long and happy lives together but I'm afraid I don't have that kind of power. Things can turn around. Maybe those docs have no clue what they are talking about, and things will be okay after this big scare. It's happened before, why not to you guys? |

We talked to the dr yesterday, they said they would combine regular treatment with the new drugs - he goes back in monday, will start treatment tuesday...
They still sounded really pessimistic but we can't say the battle is over before we finished it.. He's gonna be in one of those germ free rooms again though, that kinda sucks. Can't be there with him all day, and he can't even go out of his room either then. It's going to suck a lot but gotta try and stay positive and strong for him. Blue

Listen to you blue!!! You are amazing!! You are staying positive and hopeful and that makes me soo happy! You are so right--you cannot say the battle is finished. Does Jasper know how lucky he is to have such an awesome and loving brother? Holding you, your brother and your fosters in my thoughts!

He mostly sleeps now, hardly talks so I read to him or we just sit and watch tv or something I know he likes having me around and I know how he hates being alone there. But unfortunately can't stay there all day
We were there this morning but they kicked us out when some monitors started beeping... He's stable now but they have him on breathing support.. I'm scared they'll tell us he's not strong enough to continue the treatment now, we'll hear more tomorrow...

They stopped the treatments they say he's to weak he can't handle it
Still on breathing support, not awake a lot So I just hold his hand for awhile, babbled about little things a lot so atleast he can hear me speak and then sat in silence for awhile. When he woke up some more watched a bit tv then he went back to sleep and we had to go home.. So its official then... no more hope.. I think he knows this but he obv cant talk to me about it and before he refused to talk about it too when it was a probably... I feel ... i don't know... strangely empty I guess.. disconnected from the rest of the world.. just going on. Everything's just going on like it always does its such a cliché but it feels so true... Blue

It hadnt really hit in some ways yet yesterday but in other ways it did...
Just watching him that sick, well, makes my heart break a little bit more every time I had an awfull nightmare about it tonight, couldn't sleep anymore after. Wanted to go outside get some fresh air but couldn't, couldn't go see my brother either, Fostermother found me throwing up in the bathroom and called the hospital just to calm me down.. Of cours Jasper was well.. 'fine' or at least nothing changed.. But was nice she did that for me. It keeps going trough my head though... All to soon its going to be a 'real nightmare' one I'll be living day and night forever... I can't do this. I can't do this. Blue

Oh sweety, it seems all I can say anymore is I'm sorry this is happening. I am so thankful that your FM took care of you and called the hospital. That was very nice. Please re-read some of the wise words kebs has given you. They keep going through my mind as very insightful and true. I hope you know that we are all with you, holding your hand and Jaspers. You've endured horrible things, blue. This will hurt worse than any of them, but you will come through it. Of course it doesn't seem like it right now. Your strength will carry you through.
