Does anyone else have a sensitivity to light due to the medications you take? I know my blood pressure medication, allergy medicine, antidepressant, and nsaid make me sensitive to light in addition to my bifocals driving me nuts. I have had them two years and they drive me crazy outside. They are great when working or reading. I am going to a different eye doctor to see what he recommends. Personally I am really considering the lasik surgery to get it over with. I have to wear a hat outdoors to shield my eyes even at night because I tend to look up at anything bright and then I get dizzy. Just curious if anyone has this problem. I had to go inside tonight because the fireworks were playing havoc with my eyes and that was a bummer.

Sunglasses help, but I have to use hats to block the light also. I feel like a deer sometimes. You know how a deer glares into the headlights of car. That is me. I see light and I look straight at it and it sends pain to my eyes. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, that's me too. I take Cymbalta, Neurontin, and Amantadine and wear glasses. wearing sunglasses and a hat worked the best for me. I've been a night owl for many years. I've even preferred night time over daylight. I'm sorry I don't have any tips on dealing with the sensitivity to light.

My eyes are very sensitive to bright lights due to my health issues and medication... I have to wear sunglasses most of the time, inside buildings and out side.

Thanks for the replies. It is nice to know I am not the only one. I wear my hat and sunglasses. We are all in the same situation. We can't live without our medications. Donna aka faylowell
