so I feel kinda stupid but...

I had this before it was when my father beat me up badly and kicked me in my stomach a lot... My brother called an ambulance or I would prob not have been here now. Ok so far for the dramatics...

Something similar happened monday and I been having a fever since and there's a little blood when I throwup (fosters dont know). Not nearly as much as the last time but I still can't help but freak out about it.
I really do NOT want to call a doctor or anything as I'm sure he'll figure out it's not from falling down the stairs or something.
Also there is some blood after I gtg to the bathroom and it hurts a lot but that should heal fine I'm not worried about that.

Anyways when do you HAVE to get worried about this... Again I'd prefer not to involve a doctor but yeh... Thanks.
I am 15 so I wouldn't get a chance to not involve the police and youthcare (AGAIN). Like I said I don't want that to happen.

Blue

Oh blue, I know you don't want another opinion of the same, but if you are vomiting blood--any amount of blood, it needs to be checked out. Also if you have blood when you urinate or have a bowel movement, that needs to be checked out. ESPECIALLY if it has happened before. Please do not be untruthful with your fosters or the doctors. I know. I know you don't want to tell them. I know, Blue, but this is your life your talking about. Jasper isn't there right now to save your life, honey. Please tell your fosters so they can get you seen soon.

No blue, you need the truth. Please don't wait a couple days. Just because you don't see the blood anymore does not mean it has stopped....it could simply mean it is bleeding internally. Blue, it needs to be looked at. The "excuse" is the truth. I know you don't want to tell it, Blue, but having that knowledge will help the doctors treat you. And if the doctors find out without you telling them, through their examination, you don't want them to suspect your fosters, which is the first thing they will do.

hey there.

i had a bad time last year - i would pass out blood when i went to the bathroom and also if i threw up. i spoke to a doctor about it (3 of them, in fact - 2 GPs and my pdoc) and no one ever raised the possibility of abuse (eta: even they all knew i was living in a household where domestic violence was quite common).

sometimes these things just happen because our bodies muck up.

my main concern is that you will go to a doctor. lie all you want. i never had to say what "caused" it - if i was asked, i would have honestly said "i don't know". and my doctors would have believed me.

i think it's important you get this checked out asap. please, please do go to a doctor. as i said - lie all you want, but please do make sure you get this checked out.

This could be serious!

Go to the Doctors. Tell them that you don't want to explain how it happened but you have been having blood come both ends. The Doctor needs to treat you.

((((blue)))) you're getting some good advice about seeing the doctor. now is not the time to mull it over. this is serious. get medical help, PLEASE. don't wait. you have no idea how much you may be bleeding internally.
also please get back with us and post how u're doing AFTER you go to the doc or emergency room. i can't speak for the others but i'm older than you...much older...and this is not something you can wish away.

just lie about it, blue. tell them you have no idea how it happened, but that it got you scared, and you waited a few days to hope it would go away, but it hasn't. just anything that will get you to go to a doctor, yeah?

Dear Blue,

I am also alot older. This is quite serious. Drs. can help, the sooner the better. It's suppose to be a closed (no blood) digestive system. Blood means there is a tear (you have seen evidence of this), & perhaps internal bleeding (life threathening), the Drs. can locate this area, treat it & you will heal. Please see a Dr. We care so much for you.

Much Love,
Holmes

Well the people at the hosp weren't pleased that I didn't came to check it out earlier so I had to defend my fosters a little bit. But they seemed to buy the excuse.
No reall big damage. They did an laparoscopy (sp?) saturday. Will be going home tomorrow. Thanks for the advice everyone, really do appreciate it.
Hopefully I can see Jasper soon now!

Lucas

Loss of blood is always a reason to seek medical help.
Waiting a few days can make a difference in the turnout of this situation.

Please listen to the advice about seeing a physician...

Oh I'm sure they do I'm just bad at listening to them, always seem to forget half of it. They said it was from the upper... something. The blood was coming from the stomach.
