since... maybe the beginning of the summer (I didn't keep track) I've lost about 40 pounds. All from diet change. I still want to lose another 30 and I'd feel better about the loss if I was exercising but I'm still pretty sedimentary at the moment. I really want to learn how to ride a bike, and go hiking, and karate and yoga... but I'm kind of limited right now so I should probably just start with bike riding for a little bit before winter and do the other stuff when I gain a little independence
this past week has been a bit rough for me eating wise and getting back on track is sooooo tough but if I don't I'll just be disgusted with myself so even though it sucks I'm just going to have to suck it up. What I'm basically doing is ONLY eating when I'm hungry and when I do making sure I'm eating semi-decent stuff (I'm definitely not a health food nut but I mean... common sense... mostly eating vegetables, only a little carbs, etc.) I'm a little worried though because for me I hardly ever get hungry so I feel like even though I never go hungry my body is still malnourished and my metabolism is slowing to a grinding halt for only eating once or twice a day. worrisome but the idea of eating when I don't feel hungry kinda grosses me out now... |

Saw my dietician today, and I'm down another 2 lbs. Doesn't seem like a lot, but she says this is a healthy weekly amount for a woman and it means I'm loosing body fat, and am more likely to keep the weight off.
Figure this is going to be a 6 - 7 month project to loose all the weight I want. Did buy new running shoes yesterday, so I'm going to try to start walking at least every other day. |
