im one of the lucky ones, this i know . I have two fantastic, beautiful children that i love very much. But i cant help feeling a sense of grief in knowing that my partner wont have children with me and that due to financial and my own mental health circumstances that it is for the best to say my family is now complete. Im 29 and i had hoped to experience motherhood one last time.

Since you'rer still young, make sure you don't close the door on having another child, by having a tubal ligation. Your financial circumstances might change or you might be able to figure out a way to have another child, by cutting some financial corners. Good luck and keep the idea open.

I had four and wanted no more so booked myself in for the 'op'.

On the day my children had chicken pox and no one would look after them as they did not want to catch it ! So I couldnt have it...

Within days I became pregnant with my first girl lol...

A very much wanted accident !

Then I was divorced and re married to a man who had no children of his own so we had another child (a boy) so now have six !!!!!

You can never say never.

I was not interested in having children in the first place, but ended up having our daughter 3 years after we were married & 10 months before I graduated from college. My focus was on career, not having children, so knew absolutely that I would NOT have another child. I talked to my gyno about having my tubes tide during the c-section that I ended up having to have because my daughter was too big & I was too small. He said that most of the women that had their tubes tied ended up having to have hysterectomies a few years later. (not sure if that was a true statement or not because there was no internet in those days to check on the validity of his statement). I couldn't take the pill because of bad reactions to it......& was absolutely willing to never have relations with my husband again at that point......so he went ahead & had a vasectomy.

I never had regrets of not having any more children.....I love the daughter we have, but I am definitely NOT a person who thrived on having babies. Interesting on how different women can think on these issues.
